Until reading this, I didn't know that mobile home insurance covers attached patios, decks, sheds, etc. Personally, this is good to know because it means you're getting more for what you pay for, instead of just your house. I'll have to look more into mobile homeowners insurance.

Mobile homes require specialized insurance coverage, as standard homeowners insurance policies don't cover them. Mobile home insurance policies provide coverage for your home, adjacent structures, personal property, and personal liability protection. There are also additional endorsements available for added protection. It's important to consider these endorsements, as well as ways to save, such as having approved protective devices on your mobile home and getting a multi-policy discount for your automobile and mobile home coverage.
