As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, assisting them with their insurance needs, and ensuring their satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person regarding insurance policies, claims, and general inquiries.
- Provide accurate and detailed information about insurance products and services to clients.
- Assist clients in selecting appropriate insurance coverage based on their needs and budget.
- Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the team to generate new business and cross-sell additional insurance policies.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update information as necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in insurance policies and regulation.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Knowledge of property and casualty insurance policies and/or licensed in P&C is a plus.
